Canasil has recently completed a successful Phase 1 diamond drill program on the La Esperanza silver-zinc-lead project in Zacatecas State, and a 3-dimensional induced polarization geophysical survey on the Salamandra zinc-silver project in Durango State, Mexico, as announced on November 6 and November 30, 2006. The Company is currently conducting a Phase 1 drill program on the Colibri silver-zinc-lead project in Durango State, Mexico. In British Columbia, Canada, during the 2006 field season the Company completed a geological mapping program on the Brenda gold-copper project. This program outlined a large alteration zone adjacent to, and extending from the previously drilled zone, which had confirmed the presence of porphyry gold-copper mineralization, as announced on August 8, 2006. The multiple targets identified in Mexico and British Columbia, Canada, will be the focus of the Company’s continued exploration programs in 2007, and present excellent opportunities for discovery and added value on the Company’s exploration projects.
