Dr. Andre Panteleyev and Mr. Arthur Freeze to Act as Advisors to Canasil’s Board of Directors

Vancouver, March 15, 2006 - Canasil Resources Inc. (Canasil, TSXV: CLZ) announces that Dr. Andre Panteleyev and Mr. Arthur Freeze have agreed to act as advisors to Canasil’s Board of Directors. Both Dr. Panteleyev and Mr. Freeze are recognized figures for their contributions to the mineral exploration industry, and in particular for their knowledge and experience related to mineral deposits and regions which form the focus of Canasil’s exploration programs.
Dr. Panteleyev received B.Sc. (Honours), M.Sc. and PH.D. degrees from the University of British Columbia, Department of Geological Sciences, and has over 40 years experience in mineral deposit research and exploration. He is a recognized authority on porphyry copper and epithermal gold and silver deposits, in particular mineral deposit modeling and the assessment of regional mineral potential. He has worked and lectured extensively internationally in North, Central and South America, Europe and Asia. His professional experience includes nine field seasons in the Canadian Cordillera working for Kennco Explorations (Western) Limited on porphyry copper exploration, and 25 years of service with the British Columbia Geological Survey. He is the principal of XDM Geological Consultants Inc., and is actively involved with providing geological expertise to a number of public mining exploration companies and government organizations. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, a fellow of the Geological Association of Canada, and a member of the Society of Economic Geologists. Mr. Freeze has over 36 years of experience as an exploration and production geologist.
Mr. Freeze has extensive experience in mining development programs and evaluating projects for both senior and junior resource companies. He has held consulting, supervising, and management positions with major and junior mining companies including: Cominco Ltd., Pasminco Exploration, Echo Bay Mines and Pan American Silver Corporation. He has extensive international experience in North, Central and South America, and in the former Soviet Republics. Currently he is President of Stillwater Enterprises Limited and most notably, the principal Consulting Geologist for Goldcorp Inc. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. Dr. Panteleyev and Mr. Freeze bring considerable knowledge and experience to Canasil, based on their extensive hands-on involvement with every aspect of mineral exploration, from regional and property assessment for mineral potential, through to the exploration, identification and development of mineral deposits. Their observations and insights will provide valuable input on the progress of the Company’s project acquisition, exploration and development programs.
